USCG licensed Capt. Jeff Van Remortel is a full time waterfowl guide on the waters of Green Bay, Lake Michigan and Northern Wisconsin. Early in the Wisconsin waterfowl season (late September through mid October) Capt. Jeff runs waterfowl hunts and musky/walleye fishing trips in Vilas, Oneida, Iron and Price Counties. From mid October through the close of Wisconsin’s waterfowl season in early December, Capt Jeff is on his home waters of Green Bay and Lake Michigan 7 days a week running trophy waterfowl hunting trips for divers and sea ducks.
Capt Jeff comes from a family lineage of Green Bay/Lake Michigan waterfowl hunters that stretches back 3 generations and more than 80 years. He has spent the majority of his fall seasons over the past 12 years hunting and exploring these vast waters and studying the behavior and habits of the migratory waterfowl that use them. Countless hours of scouting and hunting Wisconsin waterfowl have provided him with the knowledge required to consistently put clients on large numbers of huntable birds EVERY DAY in ANY CONDITION.
During the closed season, Capt. Jeff is a multispecies fishing guide specializing in musky and walleye angling in the waters of Vilas, Oneida, Iron and Price Counties. During the musky season, Capt. Jeff is on the water 4 to 5 days a week guiding and fishing for muskies and other freshwater species. Recent highlights include 115 Wisconsin muskies in the boat and 7 top 10 tournament finishes in the 2012 season alone.
